Weekend break to the sea side, to the city or to the country side is always what we need from time to time after a hard working week. Like the old proverb "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" over-working without taking a break or having no time for fun makes our lives monotonous and depressed. However, today many people seem too absorbed with their career/success or greediness to earn money more and more that they forgot to make time for themselves, for their families, friends and loved ones.
To be honest, I was like that a few years ago but now I try my best to take my time off from work to spend time with my other-half, family and friends as much as possible, and trust me I feel much better. So if you feel that you have no time for your family & friends because you are too busy with your work, it's time to reconsider your priorities. Can't effort to take my loved ones for granted, life is too short. It may sound cliché, but I rather have my family and friends surrounded in a small cosy house than having a fat-bank account and being alone.
Yeah so back to today's post, last weekend I visited Bournemouth (South-west England), one of my favourite places in UK, for the same reason as I mentioned earlier :) and I'm wearing a slip dress over a white tee and denim jacket with white trainers. The slip dress was indeed the hottest trend during the summer, but I'm certainly not yet over with it. Are you??? What better layering piece can we get other than a slip dress this Autumn, after all a great layering look is the ultimate style for fall. And I say a loose denim jacket over a slip dress and a white tee is a great layering way to start for a cool transitional outfit. If you haven't seen my previous transitional outfit ideas, check it HERE.
